Shadows of the Messiah is a Bible teaching ministry for women which studies the entire Word of God and explores the revelation of the Lord Jesus within and the unity between both Testaments. We believe that one cannot fully understand the New Testament without understanding the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament) as well.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the heart and soul of the entire Word of God. The words He spoke and the miracles He performed have their roots deeply planted in the soil of the Hebrew Scriptures. His image is seen throughout the entire Bible, standing as it were from before Genesis 1:1 casting a Shadow across the pages of Holy Writ until His incarnation in the Gospels… to the final Amen of Revelation 22:21.
In fact, the Lord Himself shared this truth following His resurrection on the road to Emmaus with his disciples. In Luke 24:27 it states: “And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.” In other words, He revealed to His own followers the truths of the “pictures” of Him which were painted in the pages of the “Old” Testament… the Scriptures they knew and loved.

In our studies we sit together and uncover both the rich colorful history of our Hebrew foundations as well as the life changing truths nestled within the Word of God. It is our goal that in doing so we each grow in wisdom “until we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” (Eph 4:13).
